Celebrating 50 Years of Excellence in Education
On Saturday, November 5th, 2016, Highlander School celebrated its 50th Anniversary with a reunion and carnival on the Highlander campus. Hundreds of students, alumni, current and former teachers, and parents gathered as members of the Highlander family to reminisce and peruse school memorabilia. Children of all ages enjoyed traditional carnival games, food trucks, live music, and other attractions.
Founder, Dr. Betty Woodring, was remembered with the presentation of a 50th Anniversary plaque in her honor. Thank you for your overwhelming support through the years and for being a part of the Highlander tradition. Here’s to the next 50 years!
