As the guidelines for COVID-19 pandemic continue to evolve, I want you to know that I always have the safety of your children and my staff at the forefront of my mind when making these decisions. It was clear on Monday from federal to county officials that to slow the spread of COVID-19, it is necessary to keep Highlander closed after Spring Break. Many districts are using the word ‘indefinitely’ for a time frame. Our goal is to return as soon as possible; however, to list a date at this time is not prudent. Updates will be posted via Highlander Livingtree, our website, and Facebook.
At this time, all classroom visits, classroom tours, and testing dates for new students are canceled and will be rescheduled when school resumes. Highlander will continue to follow all federal, state, and county mandates as this situation continues to evolve.
Enjoy the rest of your break, safe travels to those of you on the road, and good health and prayers for all.
